About our unique cottages Skye

There really is nowhere quite like Mint Croft.

Located on the eastern side of the renowned scenic peninsula of Waternish on the Isle of Skye, the two Mint Croft cottages - The Blackhouse and The Croft House - are stunningly restored and lovingly decorated historic homes made available year-round for luxury self-catering holidays.

The owners, James and Carolina, were captivated by the rich history of both buildings including The Blackhouse which was built on some of the earliest structures in the village.

As stunning examples of traditional Hebridean architecture they have been carefully and lovingly restored to retain much of their original character.

Inside, James and Carolina curated beautiful interiors inspired by this sense of history and their own creative vision that brings together both old and new pieces to create highly unique cottages on the Isle of Skye that celebrate local art, design and craft.
